Detroit Michigan CCW Classes Instructor Issues Tax Refund Season Safety Advice

Detroit, MI - March 05, 2011 – Rick Ector, a National Rifle Association (NRA) Credentialed Firearms Trainer based in Detroit Michigan, has issued Tax Season Safety advice for income tax filers anticipating a refund.

According to Rick Ector - a Personal Protection expert based in Detroit, MI - this time of the year is when tax filers expecting tax refunds should be especially cautious. Ector has suggested that violent predators (i.e. robbers) are on the prowl for unsuspecting citizens with large sums of cash on hand.

According to many published accounts, the average expected tax refund is $3,000. Ector believes that persons potentially carrying around this amount of money in cash will present an appealing target for criminals who have no qualms about using violence to carry out their evil plans.

Ector stated, "Many citizens can lessen their chances of being victimized if they exercise good judgement. If they choose a well respected tax prep company with adequate safety measures, utilize direct deposit to their bank account, and avoid drawing increased attention to their expected tax refund windfall, their chances of being robbed can be decreased."

Rick Ector is a National Rifle Association credentialed Firearms Trainer, who provides Michigan CCW Classes training in Detroit for students at his firearms school - Rick's Firearm Academy of Detroit. Ector is a recognized expert in firearm safety and has been featured extensively in the national and local media: Associated Press, UPI, NRAnews, Gun Digest, The Politics Daily, Fox News Detroit, The Detroit News, WJLB, WGPR and the UrbanShooterPodcast.
