Rick Ector's next media appearance will be tomorrow (Saturday, June 11th, 2011) morning on the Herbie Felton Show. The show starts in earnest at 10:00 am on the BlogTalk Radio Network.
The one hour interview will discuss the potential impact to public safety as a direct result of the recent Detroit City Council's cuts on the budget. A few days ago, it was announced that the Detroit Police Department's budget was going to have 8.3 million dollars trimmed from it. Additionally, the Detroit Fire Department's budget will be cut by 4 million dollars.
Further, some suggestions will be made for those citizens who decide that they want to take a more active role in their own personal protection in light of the recent decisions made by local policy-makers downtown. It is expected that the topic of state of Michigan Concealed Pistol Licenses will be discussed.
