NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Training Class


Detroit Michigan RSO trainingThe purpose of this course is to develop RSOs who have knowledge, skill, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. Our class will be taught by an NRA Appointed Chief Range Safety Officer.

The topics that will be addressed in our one-day NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Training Class are listed as the following:
  1. Introduction to the NRA RSO Course
  2. The Role of the RSO and Range SOPs
  3. Range Inspection and Range Rules
  4. Range Safety Briefing
  5. Emergency Procedures
  6. Firearms Stoppages and Malfunctions
  7. Test and Review

Seating is strictly limited to only two more students. The deadline for registering is 6am on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
