Personal Protection Tip: Create A Tailored Personal Protection Plan

Personal Protection Tip: Personal Protection, like any other goal, does not just happen; it requires planning. Every person desiring to not be a victim of unprovoked violence from the whims of a predator needs to create a custom tailored Personal Protection Plan.

This plan will design a system around your lifestyle that will examine your vulnerabilities and provide methods to keep you safe. A good plan will examine your habits, your associations, where you live, where you spend your time, your occupation, and every other facet of your life that defines you as a person.

Obviously, no person can design a system that will be 100 percent effective in ensuring that you will not be attacked. However, by actively knowing where you are most vulnerable a contingency can be created to deal with it.

In most cases, one need only to follow a plan that makes him less desirable, from a predator's view, to be attacked than someone else. This approach will not stop crime in the aggregate but it will protect you.

Another tactic to approach in your Personal Protection Plan is to build into it the "art of avoidance." Many times, you will further protect yourself by simply not putting yourself in an environment where something bad can happen to you.

Safety is not random; it is planned. Further, once you have developed and adopted a plan, you need to follow it.

Do you have a plan to keep you safe?
