Earlier today, I made a live in-studio appearance on WXYT 1270's "Charlie Langton Show."
On the program, we discussed the Detroit Police Department's (DPD) plans to conduct a gun buy-back program later today. Today's topic was obviously inspired by recent press releases which allege that the aforementioned event will "clean up the streets" and make Detroit a safer city. Arguing that viewpoint on the show was Reverend Charles Williams. Of course, I argued that gun buy-backs don't work and are nothing more than glorified "dog-and-pony-shows."
