Rick Ector To Discuss The Futility Police Sponsored Gun Buy-Backs On The Charlie Langton Show - Thursday, August 30th, 2012
Tomorrow morning (Thursday) at 8:00 a.m. - August 30th, 2012 - I will make another appearance on the "Charlie Langton Show" on station WXYT at radio frequency 1270 AM. We are probably going to do two live segments. I will be interviewed live in the studio.
During the two live segments over the air we will discuss an issue that has been discussed a great deal in Detroit over the last 72 hours: the Detroit Police Department's Gun "Buy-Back" Program. That topic obviously is of interest to people who are concerned about violent crime in Detroit.
According to recent news reports a local county jail system has released over 200 inmates early, there have been 240 homicides in Detroit as of this past Sunday, and there are at least 21 active serial rapists running free in Detroit. Will a gun buy-back solve Detroit's violent crime problem?
Please listen to the show and call in with your feedback and questions.
Listen in live over the Internet.
