Earlier today I made an appearance on a "Huffington Post Live" moderated panel to discuss the racist roots of gun control. The subject is of interest these days because of a comment made recently by NRA President David Keane in a conversation with a media outlet - The Daily Caller.Keane was reported to have said the following: "You know, when you go back in history," the initial wave of gun laws was instituted after the Civil War to deny blacks the ability to defend themselves."
