WWJBD: What Would VP Joe Biden Do? (Jesus Knocking)

Last month Vice President Joe Biden gave some questionable self-defense advice. In an interview conducted by Field and Stream Magazine, Biden was attributed with suggesting that homeowners should fire and discharge their shotguns blindly through their front doors as a form of self-defense.

For anyone who has taken a basic and fundamental firearm safety class, he knows how potentially dangerous it is to follow Biden's advice. A basic tenet of responsible firearms usage is to never shoot your firearm until you have confirmed your target and what is beyond it. It is wholly unacceptable and unlawful to just shoot at an unverified target.

Biden's advice was also very disappointing because he was recently asked by President Obama to head up a task force to study ways for our nation to curb access to firearms from violent criminals and persons with serious mental illnesses. It is clear that Vice-President Biden doesn't have a clue about the lawful and responsible use of firearms.

Biden's gaffe is the source of our new blog series of posts entitled, "What Would Joe Biden Do?" Each entry will display a scenario outside of a door and ask if following Biden's advice would lead to a horrific tragedy. As such, this entry displays a picture of Jesus standing at the doorstep of a residence.

Video: Slideshow From Massive Michigan Gun Rights Rally

On Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 I attended a massive gun rights rally in Lansing, Michigan. Over 1,000 gun rights supporters from all over the Wolverine State met up at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue and proceeded to march one mile to the steps of the Capitol Building.

I was honored to be one the speakers who addressed the audience. Other speakers included, but was not limited to the Michigan Attorney General (Bill Schuette), Barry County Sheriff (Dar Leaf), MI Senator Rick Jones, and MI Senator Mike Green.

Check out a video slideshow of pictures taken during the rally.

Michigan Personal Protection Tip: Decommission Doggy-Doors

Michigan Personal Protection Tip - A great strategy to employ in your quest to remain safe at home is to avoid installing "doggy-doors" at your residence. If you have such a portal, you may want to seriously consider removing it.

Just this past Wednesday night, a Spokane, WA man was forced to shoot a home-invader as he attempted entry into his home via one of these access-ways.

WWJBD: What Would VP Joe Biden Do? (Dog Scratching Front Door)

As such, this entry displays a picture of a dog scratching at a front door.
