The history of black people and guns have always been intertwined and perhaps will always be. All this month, we are celebrating Black History Month by highlighting persons who best embody the essence of freedom.
Among the people we will be featuring will be patriots, rebels, civil rights champions, and freedom fighters. Be sure to visit this blog each day to see the respective person of interest.
In keeping with that spirit, we have also compiled a suggested reading list for people who are interested in further exploring the history of guns and black people. Most of these books can be purchased online at Amazon.
