Personal Protection Tip - Don't Facilitate An Invasion With Accessible Lawn Decorations

Personal Protection Tip - Don't Facilitate An Invasion With Accessible Lawn Decorations

Some bad guys make a conscious decision not to carry their own "break-in tools" when committing home invasions. For them, it translates into less things to carry to the crime site and an action that could lead to another charge if they happen to get caught: Possession of Break-In Tools.
They'd rather find an item in the selected home's yard that could be readily improvised and quickly put into use as a tool to help break into the residence. Items that could be used in this manner include, but is not limited to, the following: decorative garden bricks, statues and figurines, lawn furniture, and etc.
To minimize the odds of a break-in, a home owner should critically evaluate the non-stationary items in their yards to assess whether it can create a safety liability.
