Rick Ector "Lets It Rip" on LEOs and TASERS
On Sunday, I made an appearance on three segments of "Let It Rip Weekend." In the last segment, the topic of the discussion was the use of TASERs by law enforcement.
This issue came to the forefront when a tased suspect died. My personal opinion is that LEOs should be issued TASERs to give them another option to deal with suspects. TASERs carry an element of risk and "can" kill.
Thusly, it is important for the LEOs to have established procedures that detail when their use is justified relative to the risk of using them. Check out the discussion at this link:
