This past Sunday - August 23rd, I once again made another appearance on the "Armed American Radio Show" with host Mark Walters. The topics of discussion, across four segments, included a discussion on the article that ran yesterday on Fox News: Packing Heat in Detroit: Motown Residents Answer Police Chief's Call to Arms.
Detroit is unique among large cities with a substantial black population. It is one of the few in which the gun carry laws make it possible for citizens to carry firearms for personal protection. I have long stated that Detroit, in this regard, is a model for other large cities to model.
