Rick Ector "Aims" To Train 500 Women How To Safely Operate A Firearm

Rick Ector To Provide 500 Women With FREE Shooting Lessons

L.A.I.D. 5th Annual FREE Firearm Shooting Event For Women!

Six years ago, I saw a news telecast about a woman's body that was discarded in the street as an after-thought after she was murdered.
I thought to myself that someone that someone should do something about helping women learn how to defend themselves.
Thus, this upcoming training event is now in its fifth year. We had modest beginnings. The first ever event only trained 50 women. Fast forward to last year, and you will discover that we trained 300 women how to operate a firearm!
Go to our event page and learn how you can participate - either as a woman shooter, a volunteering instructor or RSO, or as a generous sponsor.

The event page serves as a notification tool for our annual community service event - FREE firearm shooting lesson for women.

READ THAT NOTICE IN ITS ENTIRETY!

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Joining that page does NOT serve as registration for the event. That page is a tool to make sure that all interested women will have a place to both receive notification of the signup period and will know where the registration links are located.

Based on the signup volume the last four years, this event will fill up quickly. I only ask that if you can't commit to being at the event, then please do not signup. Doing so, will prevent another woman from being trained.

The event will held on Sunday, July 31rst, 2016. Registration will not start until 12 noon on Sunday, July 24th, 2016 to reduce the number of no-shows and give everyone a fair chance to sign up for the free shooting lesson.

Registration will be done over the Internet. We do not have the manpower to take registrations over the phone. The registration links will be published on this page at 12 noon on Sunday, July 24th, 2016.
