Rick Ector "Talked Tough" With Paul Taros on the Racist Roots of Gun Control in Detroit

Last Tuesday, I was interviewed on Paul Taros' talk show - Tough Talk With Taros. We discussed the racist roots of Gun Control. Accordingly, we spoke about the Ossian Sweet Trial that occurred here in the city of Detroit in 1925.

In the aftermath of the eventual not guilty verdict by an all white jury, the Michigan Legislature adopted the 1927 Michigan Firearms Act. That measure was a gun banner's dream, as it spared no effort at disarming black people in our state.

Gun Control has nothing to do with guns. It is all about control.
