Earlier today, Detroit gun rights advocate Rick Ector met John James - candidate for the US Senate - at a campaign event in Detroit.
US Senator Marco Rubio also attended that same political event in Detroit to give his support to Mr. John James.
Mr. James is a conservative Republican, a West Point graduate and a veteran of the US military.
Senator Rubio is the junior US Senator from Florida.
When I was notified about the event, I made plans to attend. It was great meeting them both.
