Rick Ector Debuts on "To The Republic" to Discuss Women and Guns
I was profiled on a brand new podcast started by Rebecca Schmoe and Tim Knight - To The Republic. I was given an opportunity to share with their listening audience about a project by which my group provided a free range safety briefing and free shooting lesson to just over 800 women - in one day. The goal for 2020 is empower 1,000 women!
We also talked about how and why I became a firearms trainer. In short, I was robbed at gun-point by armed thugs in my driveway. I became consumed with a desire to learn more about personal protection. In time, I not only became a NRA credentialed firearms instructor but was later appointed as a NRA Training Counselor,
In addition, we also had an opportunity to talk about the Gun Rights Policy Conference which will be held next weekend in Phoenix, Arizona. The GRPC is an awesome opportunity for networking with other people doing great things in the gun rights community. It was at the GRPC where I first met Kenn Blanchard who not only was a great mentor to be but also became a very good friend.
