Rick Ector on Black Minds Unchained - Corona Crisis, Firearm Training fo...
Last night, I spoke with Rev. Tim Christopher and Louis Dennard from the Minnesota based blog called "Black Minds Unchained." They run the African American Heritage Gun Club. We talked about a lot of things but did it with their target audience in mind - minority MN gun owners.
We talked about my annual free training event for women, the Corona Virus Crisis, disaster preparedness, the racist history of gun control, the Philando Castile Case, Detroit's Police Chief James Craig's pro-gun statements, self-defense statistics, Hurricane Katrina gun seizures, Red Flag laws, and my personal story about being a former crime victim.
My core message is that we don't know exactly what we are facing as a nation but if we hang tough, look out for each other, and stay positive, we are going to make it through this - whatever it is.
I made sure to plug my GoFundMe page for an upcoming free firearm training event for 1,000 women on May 17th. That page is located at this URL: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-me-train-1000-detroit-women-how-to-be-safe
