Nine months ago, I was elected to the NRA BOD as the 76th. After serving only nine months, I am in the process of running for re-election for a full three year term.
My biographical sketch, as it will appear in next month's magazine along with your ballot, is the following:
NRA Board Member. Endowment Member recommended by Nominating Committee. LTC holder. Outreach Committee (2020-2024). NRA Training Counselor, CRSO, and Instructor (Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection I and II, Cartridge & Shotgun Shell Reloading, and Home Firearm Safety). NRA Membership Recruiter. Founded "Legally Armed in Detroit" that altogether organized free shooting classes for 8,800+ minority and inner-city women (2012-Present). Women's event recap was in "America's 1st Freedom" (2/2022) and was the cover story in "America's 1st Freedom" (2/2021). NRA-ILA Grassroots Spotlight for giving 1,400+ women free gun training (8/2023). Featured in film "Meet NRA Instructor Rick Ector, the Left's Worst Nightmare" (2021). Featured in NRA film "Detroit: Armed and Determined" (2014). Gun Owners for Trump Advisory Board (2020). Gun Owners of America (GOA) "Top 10 in 2019." Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) "Defender of Liberty" (2016). Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners (MCRGO) "Gun Advocate of the Year" (2014).
It will be my honor to represent and serve the NRA Members.
