Michigan Gun Rights Advocate Rick Ector Conducts "Survival Stories 3" Program at Local Church

Rick Ector, a Michigan Concealed Pistol License Class (CPL) Instructor and Head of “Legally Armed in Detroit” (LAID), recently conducted a free two-hour live seminar entitled, “Lethal Force Aftermath: Survivor Stories 3,” this past Saturday in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The intent of the program was to impart to attendees a realistic portrayal of what it is like to be selected for victimization by a violent predator and what to expect in the aftermath. The program was conducted at the Liberty General Baptist Church of Auburn Hill, which is headed by Pastor Buddy Frantz.

The individual speakers in the program each experienced an imminent attack. They were invited to share their stories with as much detail as they were willing to share. Understandably, talking about a highly emotional event is tough.

Each speaker bravely described his respective incident with a high degree of transparency. Further, each speaker demonstrated a willingness to answer numerous questions in great detail.

Thus, they were commended by the event organizer for their bravery, openness, and candor. Subject matter includes discussions on physical injuries, event-induced trauma, legal representation, and the need for psychological counseling.

Their spoken admissions about their actions during their respective attacks should not necessarily be taken as an endorsement of what they did or did not do during their respective attacks. Their testimony is solely for informational purposes only. Thus, if any viewer of this program finds himself being the subject of a violent attack, he should rely upon his knowledge of personal protection tactics and the prevailing laws in that legal jurisdiction. However, watching this video will give every firearm owner and concealed carry licensee who views it, a lot of things to consider about personal protection.

Please feel free to share your feedback on the video as a comment.
